Picture: Observing Baby Bluejays perched on a tree outside my front window

Banging, Riveting, Hammering, Sledgehammer sounds at dawn! My eyes open to this sound and the vibration that seems to be right in my head.  My bed sits under a window and apparently this woodpecker was right next to the open window banging on the house. I proceeded to bang on the wall and it left. I sensed that we were connected and I got its attention to let it know–please go away. I fell back to sleep and it returned and it seemed louder. I banged on the window screen and it left. I fell back to sleep and it returned~ hammering! We played this game for about an hour until I was awake and up.

So here is my question to myself? What is so pressing and hammering in my subconscious that I am being pounded awake by the drumming and rhythms of this bird? I am pondering this question as I write this post.

The world around us is a mystery to be explored and discovered in our own unique and curious way.

I always listen to and observe signs in nature. I believe that Nature and Animals are my guides and friends that will lead me to a deeper part of myself. They are my unconscious fairy friends that know more than I do.  They are here to help me “see and hear” the things that might be just out of my reach of conscious understanding. Things that are right on the edge of my “knowing” but not fully formed yet.

Are you aware that nature is showing you in every moment who you truly are? Are you mindful of all the peripheral things that happen in one day? Are you cognizant of all the other things that you might deem inconsequential while happening simultaneously when you are walking or talking or looking at your devices?

We do not need more things to be seen, heard or played with. We need to be able to be in contact with more of the unseen things that surround us.  All of this, which might be perceived as, “non-existent” are here coexisting with each of us to enhance our human experience! Think about that!

I find that fascinating and thrilling!
