Falling in love is not for the feint of heart.

Its as illusive as the idea of watching dancing flames inside the bark of an Aspen tree

It is a mystery~

You are vulnerable~

You are allowing yourself to be seen~

You give yourself permission to expose those deep parts of yourself and throw caution to the wind~

You are taking a risk~

You are putting yourself out there knowing there is the possibility of not being met.

You are raw and willing to open yourself up to reveal those places that might have been or are still buried.

When we decide to move into LOVE we are courageous because we have made the decision to take the chance to be seen, heard and held in this very tender position!

I find the idea of “falling love” delicious!

I love the feelings that rise inside of me each time I hear a romantic song and feel a rush of sensation move through me.

It’s a slow dance

It’s a moonlit night

It’s the silence in the mountains

It’s a crowded dance floor with sweaty bodies while the music is pulsing

I decided to take the plunge and

FALL IN LOVE WITH MYSELF ALL OVER AGAIN

I have learned that the deepest love I will ever feel is the love inside of me for myself.

~It’s the love that I am willing to give to myself even if someone else is NOT loving me in the moment.

~It is the way I look at myself.

~It is in the way I nurture myself.

~It is in the way I speak to myself.

How often do you do things for yourself without needing outside influence or validation that you “ARE OK!”

How have you given yourself away to others for the sake of being loved or for the perceived validation or idea of being loved?

Just for today~Try to think about what it would be like for you to fall deeply and madly in love with yourself.

Once you have this type of self loving in your body you can start making it a daily practice.

It seems the thing we want most is to love and be loved and yet we are always finding ways to avoid, distract, discourage ourselves from the inevitable.

Love is always available to us.

Self loving is where it begins.

What would SELF-LOVING look like for you?
